Fedirko N. Neuronal control of exocytosis and calcium homeostasis / N. Fedirko, Ju. Vats, M. Klevets, I. Kruglikov, N. Voitenko // Нейрофизиология. - 2002. - 34, № 2-3. - С. 144-146. - Библиогр.: 7 назв. - англ.We showed that 5 <$E mu>M acetylcholine (ACh) and 100 <$E mu>M norepinephrine (NE) cause increases in the total <$E roman Ca sup 2+> content in acinar cells by 30 and 87 % and in the exocytosis intensity by 15 and 20 %, respectively. Application of 5 <$E mu>M ACh and 100 <$E mu>M NE increased the free cytosolic <$E roman Ca sup 2+> concentration (<$E [ roman Ca sup 2+ ] sub i>) by <$E (87~symbol С~2)> and <$E (140~symbol С~7)> nM, respectively. Application of ACh and NE in a <$E roman Ca sup 2+>-free external solution caused the <$E [ roman Ca sup 2+ ] sub i>, increase that was 40 and 67 % lower than in a physiological solution. We suppose that the exocytosis developing upon neural stimulation of the gland results from generation of <$E roman Ca sup 2+> transients that are spreading from the basal to the apical region of the exocrine cell, where secretory granules are concentrated.
